Market intelligence

Give the model evidence—not permission.

The Trading MCP exposes a useful set of structured market-data and research tools. These inputs can improve grounding, but they can still be delayed, incomplete, revised, or interpreted incorrectly. Data should support a thesis, not silently authorize a trade.

FAQ

Questions worth answering clearly

Does Robinhood MCP explain why a stock moved?

The MCP provides structured market and company data. An AI agent may combine those tools with separately authorized news or web tools, but the Trading MCP itself is not a general web browser.

Are technical indicators predictions?

No. Indicators are mathematical summaries of historical market data. They can lag, conflict, and fail under changing conditions.

Can market data be stale?

Any distributed data system can experience delay or interruption. A trade workflow should fetch fresh pre-trade data, display timestamps where available, and stop when required inputs are missing.
